Terms of Use

1. Who can use PetPal

You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms. One account per person; keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

2. Zero tolerance for abuse

PetPal is for friendly pet owners. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post, send or share anything that is:

• harassing, threatening, bullying, hateful or discriminatory;
• sexual, violent, graphic, or harmful to animals;
• spam, scams, advertising, or requests for money;
• someone else’s private information, or content you don’t have the right to share;
• illegal, or offers to sell animals where that isn’t allowed.

Accounts that break these rules are removed, and content that breaks them is deleted.

3. Reporting and blocking

Long-press a message to report it; it is hidden right away and reviewed by our team. Use Block in a chat to stop someone from contacting you: neither of you will see the other’s pets, chats or profile. You can unblock people in Account → Settings → Blocked people. We review reports within 24 hours and act on them, including removing content and the accounts that posted it. You can also email support@petpalmatch.com.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, pet profiles and messages you add. You let us store, show and transmit them as needed to run PetPal (for example, showing your pet to other users). You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

5. Meeting other people

PetPal helps owners arrange playdates; we don’t check users or their pets. Meet in public places, keep your pet’s vaccinations up to date, and supervise pets at all times. You are responsible for your own safety and your pet’s, and for any meeting you arrange.

6. Ads

PetPal is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. Our privacy policy explains what data ads use and your choices.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Settings → Delete account) or on the delete your account page. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

8. No warranty, and limits on liability

PetPal is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and safe but can’t promise it will always be error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other users say or do, on or off PetPal.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date and tell you in the app when the changes are significant. Using PetPal after that means you accept them.
